You may have heard in the news that dirty hackers have stolen 1000’s of credit card numbers, along with addresses from the Cotton Traders website. As many as 38000 customers of Cotton Traders had their information stolen when the clothing company’s website was hacked into.
I did a quick search on Google for Cotton Traders to see if they had placed any information on their website about the security breach. In the Google SERPS I noticed their meta description which touts “shop in safety online”. Hmm not quite true is it…

A lot of my work involves designing, optimising and marketing ecommerce websites. SEO is a big part of this and there’s no shortage of SEO blogs and communities. Ecommerce however is a little different. It’s much harder to find good blogs which focus on ecommerce.
Although, I did just find one called getelastic. You may have seen it before but I hadn’t come across it. Check out this post on 107 Add to Cart Buttons of Top Online Retailers. Nice collection guys. Here’s a selection of the add to cart buttons they feature:
